Kathy Myalls has 30+ years of experience in Big Law (with an emphasis in business litigation, employment litigation, insurance coverage, contract and other commercial disputes) and in-house in telecommunications and advertising, where her practice has spanned from contracts (including government and SaaS), intellectual property, employment and employment disputes, privacy compliance, and commercial litigation on local and national levels.
In addition to her law practice, Kathy has served as an adjunct professor teaching constitutional and communications law at DePaul University. She has served as a not-for-profit board member in several organizations and now adds licensed arbitrator to her resume.

BACKGROUND:
Assistant General Counsel at Interpublic Group of Companies (a Fortune 500 company) with broad commercial experience including extensive experience in intellectual property, contracts (including government contracts and SaaS contracts), employment, litigation, and privacy, including managing litigation and employment disputes on local and national levels. At IPG, counseled senior agency management on risk management, crisis management, and internal investigations. Served on steering committee for contract standardization across IPG network.
At MCI (now Verizon), negotiated global contracts relating to telecommunications and consulting services, and advised on regulatory and legislative issues.
Developed and taught Communications Law course to graduate and undergraduate students at DePaul University in the College of Communications. Strong emphasis on Constitutional Law/First Amendment.
